Task force members will be briefed on progress regarding the Restore Homeowner Assistance Program, the Landlord Rental Program and the Small Business Assistance Program.
In addition, a resolution will be considered to reallocate $4.7 million from the Multifamily Restoration Loan Program to the Neighborhood Landlord Program and $17.7 million to the Piggyback Program. Both the Neighborhood Landlord and the Piggyback programs are designed to increase the number of affordable rental housing units.
Homeowners impacted by the March or August 2016 floods are urged to complete the Restore Louisiana survey, regardless of whether they believe they qualify for assistance. The survey is a required first step of the homeowner assistance program and helps ensure that awards are made in the most efficient manner possible.
