Resilient Communities Infrastructure Program

Infrastructure

Overview

Through the Resilient Communities Infrastructure Program, the state will address unmet needs in the area of infrastructure across impacted areas in order to expand upon and improve resilient community planning. The goal of this program is to reduce overall risk to the population and structures from future hazard events, while also reducing reliance on federal funding in future disasters.

The program will require mitigation components to be included within the scope(s) of awarded projects in order to advance long-term resilience. Critical to this function is the collaboration with local and community leaders to respond to their communities’ most urgent rebuilding needs and assist in identifying long-term and innovative solutions to strengthen the state’s infrastructure and critical systems.

Getting Started
